Cancellation Policy

EvenStocks is 100% FREE today. There is nothing to cancel for payment purposes.

No active subscriptions, no premium tiers, no recurring charges of any kind exist on the platform right now. You can simply stop using the service at any time, or close your account from My Profile. See our Pricing page — cost is ₹0. The policy text below describes a hypothetical future paid model that will only apply IF we ever launch paid features — published in advance for regulatory compliance.

1. Overview

You may close your account or (in the future, post-Beta) cancel any active subscription at any time. This page explains how to do it, what happens to active services, and how cancellation interacts with refunds.

2. Cancelling a Subscription

  • Go to My Profile → Plan / Subscription section and click "Cancel Subscription", or write to [email protected] from your registered email.
  • Cancellation stops the next auto-renewal. Your current paid cycle remains active until its scheduled end date, and you continue to have access to all premium features during that period.
  • No partial refund is issued for the unused portion of an already-paid subscription cycle (see our Refund Policy).
  • When the paid cycle ends, your account automatically downgrades to the free plan. You can continue using EvenStocks on the free tier indefinitely; subscription can be re-activated any time from My Profile.

3. Cancelling a Wallet Top-up

  • Wallet top-ups are credited instantly on successful payment. Once credited, the balance is non-cancellable but remains in your wallet indefinitely until consumed.
  • If a top-up payment was made by mistake (wrong amount, duplicate transaction) and the credited balance has not been consumed, you may request a refund under our Refund Policy within 30 days.
  • If a top-up was charged but did not credit to your wallet within 30 minutes of the payment, the amount will be auto-reversed by Razorpay within 5–7 business days. If it does not, contact [email protected] for manual reconciliation.

4. Closing Your Account

  • Account closure can be requested from My Profile → Delete Account, or by emailing [email protected] from the registered email.
  • On request, your account is soft-deleted within 2 business days — the login is disabled and personally-identifiable information is masked.
  • Full data deletion (queries, watchlists, portfolio entries, payment history) is completed within 30 days of the request, except where Indian tax, accounting, or anti-fraud laws require us to retain transaction records for a statutory period.
  • Any unused wallet balance is refunded under the terms of our Refund Policy. An active paid subscription continues until the end of the paid cycle unless you specifically request immediate termination (no refund for the active cycle).

5. Auto-Renewal

Subscription plans on EvenStocks renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle using the payment method on file. You will receive a renewal reminder via email at least 3 days before the next charge. You can disable auto-renewal at any time from My Profile without cancelling the current cycle.

6. Failed Renewal Payments

  • If an auto-renewal payment fails (insufficient funds, expired card, UPI mandate issue), we retry up to 3 times over 7 days.
  • If all retries fail, the subscription is automatically downgraded to the free plan. No premium features are charged for during this period.
  • You can resume by updating your payment method and re-subscribing from My Profile.

7. Suspension by EvenStocks

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for breach of our Terms of Use — including fraud, abuse, unauthorised access, or violation of applicable law. In such cases, no refund will be issued for unused subscription periods or wallet balance, and the suspension decision is final at our sole discretion.
