Is there a free trial?
You don't need a trial — the core platform is free to use. Signup gives you immediate access to the core features listed above, with no card asked at signup and no "after 7 days" charge. There is no recurring subscription. Optional pay-as-you-use credits are available for power users who run very high volumes, but they are never required for normal retail research.
Will it become paid later?
Our commitment is that the core multi-agent stock analysis will always remain free for Indian retail investors. In the future, we may introduce optional pay-as-you-use credits for power users who run hundreds of analyses per day (no recurring subscription) — but this has not launched and there is no fixed date for it. Existing users will get advance notice and bonus credit when (and if) it does.
Why is it free?
EvenStocks is built and operated by an independent founder using subscription-based AI inference (Claude Code CLI) rather than per-call API billing, which keeps unit economics manageable at zero retail price. We don't take broker commissions, we don't sell paid "tips", and we don't display third-party ads. The platform's purpose is to make institutional-grade equity research accessible to Indian retail investors who can't afford Bloomberg / Refinitiv / paid newsletters.
What stays free for retail
For Indian retail investors, normal use of the following is free — there is no recurring subscription:
- Core stock research / analysis on any NSE or BSE listed stock
- The AI chatbot (web or WhatsApp) for normal retail use
- Portfolio tracking and watchlist features
- Signup, login, account verification
- Email / WhatsApp alerts
Only very high-volume "power user" usage may draw on optional pay-as-you-use credits — and even then, never a recurring subscription.
