The policy text below describes a hypothetical future pay-as-you-use model that will only apply IF we ever launch paid features — this is published in advance for regulatory compliance, not because charges exist today.
1. Overview
EvenStocks is a stock research platform offering data analytics, AI-powered research aggregation, and educational tools over publicly-available Indian stock market data. This policy describes when future wallet top-ups or subscription payments would be refundable, the timeline for refunds, and how to request one. (No paid payments are being collected during our current free-Beta period.)
2. Payment Types
- Subscription plans — recurring access to premium analytical features. Billed per subscription cycle.
- Wallet top-ups — pre-paid balance used to consume per-query AI analyses and Investment Committee runs. Credited to your account immediately on successful payment.
3. What is Refundable
- Duplicate / accidental payments — if your card or UPI was charged twice for the same transaction in error, we will refund the duplicate amount in full.
- Failed transactions where amount was debited — if your bank/UPI debited the amount but the wallet credit or subscription activation did not happen, the amount will be auto-reversed by the payment gateway within 5–7 business days. If it does not, write to us and we will manually reconcile.
- Unused wallet balance — if you have an unused wallet balance and wish to terminate your account, we will refund the unused portion (less any payment gateway fees already deducted), provided no fraud or policy violation is observed on the account. Request must be made within 30 days of the most recent top-up.
- Service unavailability — if the platform was unavailable for an extended period (over 24 consecutive hours) attributable to us, we will credit the affected days back to your subscription on a pro-rata basis.
4. What is Not Refundable
- Subscription fees for the current and past billing cycles, once the cycle has begun and the service has been delivered. Cancellation stops the next renewal but does not refund the active period (see our Cancellation Policy).
- Wallet balance that has been consumed against AI analyses, Investment Committee runs, or any other paid feature.
- Charges arising from user error — e.g., topping up the wrong amount, choosing the wrong plan, or sharing account credentials.
- Any dispute raised more than 60 days after the original transaction date, except where required otherwise by law.
5. How to Request a Refund
Send an email to [email protected] from the email address registered with your EvenStocks account, with the following details:
- Your registered username and email
- The payment date and amount
- The Razorpay payment ID (visible in your payment receipt — starts with
pay_) - A brief reason for the refund request
6. Processing Timeline
- Review: we acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days and respond with a decision within 5 business days.
- Approved refunds: initiated via Razorpay back to the original payment method. Funds typically reflect in your account within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or UPI provider's processing time.
- Payment gateway fees charged by Razorpay on the original transaction are non-recoverable and may be deducted from the refund amount.
7. Disputes via Payment Gateway
If you are unable to reach resolution with us directly, you may raise a dispute through Razorpay's customer support at razorpay.com/support or through your card-issuing bank's chargeback mechanism. EvenStocks will cooperate fully with any such dispute investigation.
8. Important Note
EvenStocks is a data analytics and educational platform. We do not provide personalised investment advice, buy/sell recommendations, or guaranteed returns. Refunds will not be issued on the basis of investment outcomes (gains or losses) experienced by a user as a result of decisions made using information from the platform. All investment decisions are made independently by the user.
